Waiting on Wednesday: Crossed

Waiting On Wednesday is hosted by Jill @ Breaking The Spine and allows us to spotlight upcoming books we are eagerly anticipating.

Crossed by Ally Condie

In search of a future that may not exist and faced with the decision of who to share it with, Cassia journeys to the Outer Provinces in pursuit of Ky — taken by the Society to his certain death — only to find that he has escaped, leaving a series of clues in his wake.

Cassia’s quest leads her to question much of what she holds dear, even as she finds glimmers of a different life across the border. But as Cassia nears resolve and certainty about her future with Ky, an invitation for rebellion, an unexpected betrayal, and a surprise visit from Xander — who may hold the key to the uprising and, still, to Cassia’s heart — change the game once again. Nothing is as expected on the edge of Society, where crosses and double crosses make the path more twisted than ever.

Released: 1st November (US)

The first book in this series, Matched, blew me away and I instantly wanted the sequel. I can't wait to see what happens to Cassia!

  1. Great choice. I can't wait for this either.

  3. Cant wait to read Crossed :) Is already on my TBR List as I think Im in love with Ky lol

  4. I was a bit disappointed in Matched, perhaps because I read it shortly after Delirium. It was a bit slow-paced for me. But I'm also really curious to read this one.

    Happy reading!

Here is my WOW :D http://liliesbooks.blogspot.com/2011/06/waiting-on-wednesday-days-like-this.html

  5. I'm ashamed to say that I haven't read Matched yet despite all the raving I've read online. I know it's one of the most anticipated books of 2010. I'm actually surprised that I haven't picked it up yet. Until now. Id have to do so soon. Since Crossed will be published later this year!

Here's my Waiting on Wednesday post.

  6. Can't wait for this after reading Matched, was one that surprised me. x
